Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program (PRTP) offers an inpatient treatment option for adolescents and children struggling with ongoing behavioral, emotional and/or psychiatric problems. Our youth treatment facilities are designed specifically for youth ages 7 – 17 and can be the best treatment option for children whose behavioral issues have persisted despite acute or outpatient interventions.

Adolescent treatment program is highly specialized and designed for youth ages 12-17 who are suffering from mental health crises associated with severe distress, depression, anxiety, psychosis and other psychiatric disorders. Patients are treated in a therapeutic environment that provides medical and psychiatric stabilization as well as 24-hour nursing care.

Located in Valdosta, GA, Greenleaf provides the tools needed for lasting recovery.Our admissions department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and you are welcome to call us at any time that is convenient for you. Laurel Heights Hospital

Programs and services bring hope and healing to children and adolescents who face complex psychiatric, behavioral and neurodevelopmental disorders that require acute inpatient psychiatric care. General psychiatric acute care or specialty autism acute care is available for children and adolescents in psychiatric crisis. Treatment programs at our youth residential treatment center are structured for youth ages 6–17 who are dealing with general psychiatric difficulties and trauma. We also offer specialized behavioral health programs for children with co-occurring neurodevelopmental disabilities, including a residential program for Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Peachford Hospital

Inpatient and outpatient children’s programs are designed to treat patients ages 4 to 12. Administered by professionals experienced at working with this age group, the program provides a nurturing and therapeutic environment that gives children the tools they need to lead happy and hopeful lives.Mental health issues can throw a teenager’s life into a spiral, causing problems at home and at school. Peachford can help. We offer inpatient and outpatient programs specifically for teens ages 13 to 18, including those dealing with substance abuse problems. We teach teens the skills they need to increase confidence, responsibility and self-reliance.

SummitRidge Hospital

Adolescents dealing with behavioral health problems or addiction to drugs and/or alcohol may find help at SummitRidge Hospital. Our professional, caring staff has years of combined experience working with adolescents diagnosed with mood, behavior and substance use disorders.

  • SummitRidge Hospital’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is an outpatient treatment program for adolescents ages 11–17 offered Monday through Friday.
  • A psychiatric assessment is given within the first two days of treatment and throughout care. Patients usually attend 7 to 10 days of programming, depending on the individual’s needs.

Residential Mental Health Treatment Program for Adolescents Ages 14 to 17

Adolescent clients who admit to the residential treatment program typically stay at the residential level of care for about 12 weeks.

Our longer length of stay gives our treatment team more time to get to know each teen and tailor treatment to their individual needs. The 12-week treatment program also gives our clients the time and space to learn, practice, and adopt skills that will help them change unhealthy behavior patterns and engage more positively with their families, schools, and communities. Total treatment costs depend on the level of care required and the number of days needed to complete treatment.
