The Jeff Davis County School System works closely with families and the community to identify and address challenges that impact student success while expanding opportunities for learning and growth. A range of support services is available for students across all grade levels. Our team includes school counselors, a licensed mental health counselor, a school social worker, school psychologists, and student support team (SST) coordinators who work collaboratively to support students through academic and career development, social-emotional and behavioral support, health and wellness services, and access to community and crisis resources. These professionals use a team-based approach to support the whole child by linking home, school, and community services.
