Federal Programs

The mission of Federal Programs is to provide technical assistance, program monitoring and resources to local educational agencies (LEA) to ensure that all children have an opportunity to obtain a high quality education and to achieve proficiency on the state's high academic achievement standards.

Feel free to click on the links below to view the JDCSS Streamline Consolidated LEA Improvement Plan, which is aligned with the JDCSS Strategic Plan. These are working documents and will be revised periodically during the school year. After reviewing the documents, feel free to contact me with any changes or revisions.
Jeff Davis County School District Plans

Georgia's local educational agency (LEA) Consolidated Application includes The Consolidated LEA Improvement Plan, or “CLIP”.  The CLIP fulfills the need for a plan from LEAs to be collected by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) to define how the LEAs will support their students when accepting federal funds under The Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) of 2015.

Jeff Davis County School System CLIP aligns with the District Strategic Plan. This plan is developed from stakeholder input at the district level. Each school develops their own Strategic Plan that aligns with the district and is reviewed annual by each school to ensure that the district is on track for their student’s success. Data is reviewed at school and district levels to ensure that upward progress is being made or to see if adjustments need to be made to the plans. All of the Strategic Plans can be viewed at this web address: https://simbli.eboardsolutions.com/sb_strategicplan/sb_planlisting.aspx?S=4093

The District Plans that make up the CLIP include the items below:
