The Connie Smith Rape Crisis Center provides valuable services to support the physical and emotional healing of sexual assault victims and their families.  Services include forensic examinations, follow-up medical services, 24-hour crisis line, crisis intervention, advocacy services, and therapeutic counseling.  Locations include Glynn, Appling, Camden, and Wayne County. They provide services to residents of Jeff Davis County.

Safe Harbor - Children's Center
Safe Harbor Children's Center serves children, ages birth to 18, who have been removed from dangerous situations as a result of abuse, neglect, or abandonment.  As a long-term residential shelter, the center provides nurturing care, medical and dental services, academic tutoring, vocational guidance, recreational opportunities, counseling and therapeutic services in a loving, home-like environment.

Fair Haven Community Resource Center
Fair Haven is a non-profit agency that provides a safe place for women and children who are the victims of domestic violence in Wayne, Appling, and Jeff Davis Counties.  Fair Haven staff assist victims and their children with services, options, and opportunities as they learn how to successfully survive domestic violence.  In addition to the emergency shelter, Fair Haven's outreach and education program targets domestic violence victims who do not need emergency shelter, but are living with or in domestic violence.  The Outreach Program collaborates with other community agencies to obtain the most effective resources to assist the family so that they are able to live a life free from the fear of abuse.
