Jeff Davis County Family Connection
Jeff Davis Family Connection Council, Inc. brings together partners and community members to figure out the best way to help our kids and families thrive.  We discuss our vision for the community, assess the needs in our county, then decide how we can best work together to meet those needs.  We look at data for our county, compare it to the state, and let this information assist us as we decide on what programs might help us improve our outcomes.  A few projects we have going on with JDCFC are our annual back to school giveaway, annual Secret Santa project, Backpack Buddy Food Program, and Leave One Take One littles libraries.

Because He Lives Ministries
We are a 501c3 nonprofit ministry.  We generate the finances to sponsor our mission work through sales from the Mission Store and from donations.  Because He Live Ministries is not directly affiliated with or sponsored by any specific church, but partners with all the churches in our area to promote mission endeavors for the building of the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior.  They provide food, clothing, household items, and personal care items at very low prices through the Mission Store.  They donate food, clothing, household items, and personal care items to individuals and families who have emergency needs such as burnouts; individuals and families referred through DFCS and Red Cross; nursing home patients; foster families; and school personnel for students identified as needy.  They also provide Christmas gifts to local needy children through Project Help-a-Child.
